1.3.6 Content Update Preview

1.3.6 is a major content update released on May 16, 2016 for Terraria. This update contains a large number of new features, gameplay changes, bug fixes and more.

New Features

• The new "Frozen" biome has been added, along with several new enemies and NPCs.
• A new "Hardmode" difficulty has been added for players who have beaten the Wall of Flesh. This difficulty is much more challenging, with new enemies and increased difficulty.
• A new "Expert Mode" has been added for players who want an even greater challenge. This mode is even more difficult than Hardmode, and contains new enemies and increased difficulty.
• A new "Master Mode" has been added for players who want the ultimate challenge. This mode is the most difficult mode in the game, and only the most skilled players will be able to beat it.
• A new "Event" has been added. This event is a special, limited time event that will only be available for a short period of time.
• A new "Pet" system has been added. Now players can have a pet to follow them around and help them in battle.
• A new "Mount" system has been added. Now players can ride around on mounts, making travel much faster.
• A new "PvP" system has been added. Now players can battle each other in PvP combat.
• A new "Guild" system has been added. Now players can join or create guilds with other players.
• A new "Leaderboard" system has been added. This system will track the top players in the game and their stats.
• Several new "Achievements" have been added. Now players can earn achievements for their accomplishments in the game.
• Several new "Items" have been added. These items include new weapons, armor, and more.
• Several new "Blocks" have been added. These blocks include new building materials and more.
• Several new "Tiles" have been added. These tiles include new flooring and wall materials.
• A new "Music" track has been added. This track is played when exploring the new "Frozen" biome.

• A number of bugs have been fixed, including bugs with world generation, enemies, NPCs, items, and more.
